‘Gorilla Glue girl’ is suffering from yet another hair catastrophe after trying to dye her grays — and is now watching her hair fall out in clumps.
Earlier this year, ‘s Tessica Brown, 40, went viral for setting her hair with Gorilla Glue, a permanent adhesive that turned her hair into a hardened helmet that wouldn’t budge for over a month — until a plastic surgeon finally removed it.
But Tessica’s mane misery isn’t quite over yet: On Thursday, she revealed that she had tried to use Revlon box dye to cover up some gray hair but was met with with burning sensation, and soon huge clumps of hair were coming out of her head.
She shared her woes in a viral TikTok video this week, explaining: 'I decided that I was gonna start wearing my real hair, but when I looked at it, you know, I had a gray hair here, a gray hair there.'
She said she thought her hair was 'strong enough to take chemicals, but soon realized, 'Dude, no, it wasn't.'
According to her manager Gina Rodriguez, who spoke to the , Tessica put the dye on her head and quickly started to feel a burning sensation.
She washed it out immediately, but said that that was when the hair started falling out of her head.
On camera, she demonstrates the large clumps coming out as she runs her fingers through her hair, and holds up a large collection of locks she already pulled out.
According to her manager Gina Rodriguez, the hair dye interacted poorly with the chemicals that were used to remove the glue from her hair earlier this year, which caused the hair to melt
